Report an Early Release

Parents are not required to come in to sign out students. A note/call/email is sufficient as long as students pick up their dismissal slip in the office. They will show the dismissal slip to teachers and leave class at the requested time.

If you do not send a note at the beginning of the day and you call or email for early release, you must contact your student to pick up a dismissal slip at the office, during lunch or passing period—not in the middle of class, before they leave campus to be excused for the absence.

This will greatly reduce the number of classroom interruptions during the day.

Students are not permitted to leave campus (this includes visiting their car at lunchtime) at any time without prior approval and checking out at the office per the Puyallup School District closed campus policy for obvious safety reasons.
