Report an Absence or Tardy

• If your student arrives to school during 1^st period and does not have a doctor or parent note, please have them go directly to class.
   
• If they arrive after 1^st period, regardless if they have a note, please remind them that they must check in at the office to be checked in and be excused.
   
• If your student is feeling unwell, PLEASE remind them to visit the health room. The health room will excuse them from school and provide a dismissal slip when necessary.
   
• If a student is 10 or more minutes late to a class they are considered absent from that class, not tardy.

If your student believes that they were mistakenly marked absent/tardy, please have them discuss that with their teacher.

Please plan to have students pick up a planned absence form in the office one week prior to their absence and return it to the office before they leave for the absence.

Planned absence forms are not required/necessary for absences less than three days.
