Varsity Letter in Volunteer Service
PSD Students in Grades 7 to 12 can receive a Varsity letter if they participate in at least 150 unpaid community service hours in our community.
Students would need to log hours for each school year. This year the dates to log their hours are May 16, 2024 to May 14, 2025.
Students may not use back logged hours from previous years but are able to receive a letter each school year that they participate in community service hours.
Please remember, you must not receive any other benefit for your community service hours (e.g., grade, credit, pay or varsity letter in any other area).
Essay Topic
Included in the hours logged, students will be asked to write a 250–500-word essay.
Topic for the essay is "Reflect on how your community service has made an impact on yourself and your community"
